Read – Stop – Revise – Read – Stop – Revise

This is highly effective. Folks usually make the mistake of studying new topics for long hours and forgetting the initial pages/concepts. The other usual problem is that they are unable to concentrate.

With the below schedule you’ll understand that consistency is the key. Studying daily for few hours is much more effective than studying one day for long hours. Hence, please do try to follow the below schedule. It is a tried and tested method.

1. Whenever you start studying a new subject, read it for only 30–45 minutes.
2. Read it slowly. Connect it with the practical examples.
3. If you get any doubt with any word, immediately clear it by searching it on Google/Youtube.
4. Initially it might look tough but with time you will enjoy the process. You will grasp it faster.
5. Try to understand why and how it is happening.
6. Then stop reading the new part.
7. Revise the old part again for next 10–15 minutes.
8. Repeat.

This technique helped me to score in top rank in GATE 2022.
